Nova is smart, agile, smooth to ride and she has a lot of try. Nova has been on some long rides pushing cows and horses in the mountains in all weather. Rides out alone or in company.
I have jumped her over low fences on a few occasions and believe she could excel as a jumper pony prospect.
She has tracked the flag, dragged a dummy, and has had a rope swung off her. She is proficient at arena work and has the buttons for lateral movements.
Middle of the pecking order, good with dogs, cats, cows, has ridden alongside the highway. She does enjoy obstacles, and is proving to be talented at navigating them, including water crossing.
Been in English & Western tack, has been ridden in a simple snaffle and pelham. Currently riding in a bosal.
Nova would be best suited for a confident intermediate rider in a program, or with an experienced rider to bring her even further. She has a lot of potential and ability to take you whatever direction you would like to go. She’s honest, clever, curious, and kind, but being naturally more forward may intimidate a less experienced rider.
No buck, bolt, or rear. Nova’s spook is typically a jump sideways and stop to look.
Hauls, ties, bathes, good with feet and for farrier, is barefoot and sound.
She is truly a fantastic little partner who enjoys connecting with her person.
Dewormed this month and UTD on 💉 & feet.
